Il turismo
Il nostro territorio, posto nel centro dell’area mediterranea e facilmente raggiungibile, è il luogo ideale per diventare capitale del turismo annuale: pensiamo ad una città capace di dare risposte imprenditoriali, in ogni momento dell’anno, ai diversi turismi che nell’era moderna si stanno formando ed articolando. La scelta del Governo di reintrodurre il Ministero del Turismo garantisce la necessaria “cabina di regia” di cui spesso si è sentita la mancanza.
Il Palas
Puntare su un turismo annuale vuol dire rilanciare il Palacongressi.
Quest’opera mastodontica si porta in dote almeno 30 milioni di euro di debiti, ai quali dovremo prima o poi fare fronte per cui non è da scartare a priori l’alienazione di alcune parti dell’immobile. Il rilancio lo faremo attraverso convenzioni che affidino la gestione a privati di comprovata eccellenza nel settore, con rinnovi contrattuali basati sui risultati e comunque va separata in maniera netta la gestione dalla proprietà.
Un altro problema da risolvere, legato al Palas, è di tipo urbanistico che lo rende un “non luogo”, come purtroppo spesso capita alle architetture eccessivamente fuori scala e fuori contesto.
E’ quindi prioritaria l’apertura della piazza su viale Ceccarini, e il mantenimento di caratteristiche commerciali congruenti al Viale come non lo sono, per esempio, la sale per giochi alla fortuna (Bingo).
Programmare per realizzare
La veloce spinta evolutiva che ha attraversato, ed ancora attraversa, il mondo del turismo, non lascia più spazi ad iniziative solitarie ed improvvisate. La nascita di concorrenti agguerriti, sia come offerta che come prezzi ha fatto maturare la convinzione che solo la condivisione di obiettivi e la collaborazione trasversale tra tutte le competenze in campo consentirà a Riccione la creazione di nuove opportunità dove invece la crisi sta creando difficoltà.
A tale scopo sarà istituito un Ufficio di Programmazione, Marketing e Comunicazione, che avrà lo scopo di progettare uno sviluppo coerente ed efficace, coordinando un tavolo pianificazione strategica e gestionale con i rappresentanti di categoria, le associazioni e i soggetti privati.
Questo favorirà il contributo degli operatori del settore nella formulazione di progetti innovativi, ed allo stesso tempo eviterà piani operativi “calati dall’alto” e non condivisi.
Il mare la nostra grande risorsa
Come già trattato in un altro punto del programma, la risoluzione del principale problema dell’inquinamento dell’Adriatico, può trovare giovamento dalla delocalizzazione del depuratore.
Il nostro intervento opererà su scala nazionale, sollecitando le autorità governative per il recupero di risorse da destinare all’ambiente, per combattere l’eutrofizzazione e proteggere l’arenile.
Attiveremo un comitato Studi per l’eliminazione del problema erosione con interventi mirati e con l’ausilio di geologi, anche locali, che possiedono una forte e specifica conoscenza del nostro “territorio marino”.
Turismo e ambiente
Il grande impegno che impiegheremo per rendere Riccione una realtà ecosostenibile, vede anche l’impiego delle nuove tecnologie di comunicazione: grazie a strumenti come internet sarà avviata una campagna pubblicitaria di rilancio turistico dal titolo “Riccione, la perla sempre più verde” rivolta alla crescente miriade di simpatizzanti dell’ambiente e consumatori che orientano le proprie scelte con occhio ecologicamente critico.
Le Terme
L’enorme potenziale intrinseco nelle nostre Terme troverà certamente una valida via di sviluppo, grazie al programma di potenziamento della “cittadella del benessere”, luogo di cura per mutuati e non.
Lo sviluppo del progetto innovativo “Il mare d’inverno”, grazie anche a partner privati, vedrà le nostre Terme gareggiare con i Centri Benessere attualmente in voga in Europa, ad esempio in Austria e Croazia, dove l’offerta complementare, vedi alberghi e ristorazione, non può certo competere con la nostra.
Il nuovo Grand Hotel delle Terme dovrà prevedere anche funzioni ricettive, con lo scopo di rivitalizzare la zona dell’Abissinia, purtroppo per molto tempo vittima di una dissennata politica di marginalizzazione degli esercizi alberghieri.
