Sport e cultura
Anche lo sport e la cultura vanno visti in primis come servizi alle famiglie e poi anche al movimento turistico.
L’amministrazione deve valorizzare e dare spazio e spazi a tutte le realtà sportive e culturali che dimostrano di poter e saper svolgere la loro attività al servizio del cittadino. Lo sport e la cultura devono contribuire allo sviluppo completo della persona in relazione al proprio corpo ed alle proprie attitudini fisiche e mentali sempre nell’ottica di una sana soddisfazione personale e di relazione.
Il teatro
E’ il “Godot” delle infrastrutture: sempre promesso mai realizzato.
Il teatro rappresenta da sempre il polo attrattivo delle comunità culturali. La nostra Città si merita un Teatro adatto a lei, capace di contenere in maniera dignitosa eventi di prosa, balletti e spettacoli per soddisfare i gusti artistici dei Cittadini e dei turisti.
Eventi in inverno
Le potenzialità di una città come Riccione sono da sempre sacrificate nel ristretto periodo estivo. La sua natura ora ha bisogno di spaziare anche nel periodo invernale, dando continuità agli eventi culturali, come ad esempio mostre e concerti, utilizzando maggiormente le strutture in essere : il Castello degli Agolanti, Villa Lodi Fè, il Palas etc..
Il Palazzo del Turismo
Da quando esiste il Palazzo del Turismo rappresenta un punto di riferimento della vita culturale riccionese, sede di mostre ed esposizioni. La sua naturale destinazione lo vedrebbe come luogo ideale per una grande libreria/biblioteca aperta al pubblico (come ad esempio l’ex sala Borsa di Bologna), corredata da spazi di intrattenimento quali ristorante e caffetteria. Un luogo ideale per ricostruire un salotto culturale, luogo di incontri e discussioni, di presentazione di libri o eventi letterali, spazi espositivi e luogo di conservazione delle memoria della città, con archivi organizzati ed accessibili.
Si potrebbe anche trasferire il Museo del Territorio in maniera da lasciare maggior spazio alla Biblioteca comunale per l’ampliamento delle sezioni.
Una tale operazione di rilancio del Palazzo del Turismo potrebbe essere realizzata in sinergia con un partner privato dell’editoria di grande rilevanza nazionale.
Poiché l’assegnazione del Palazzo del Turismo, effettuata mediante bando pubblico, ha già un affidatario, noi proporremo altre sedi più idonee alle esposizioni di antiquariato, come ad esempio Villa Franceschi.
Opere per lo sport
Accanto alle strutture già operanti nell’ambito sportivo, proponiamo di allargare e differenziare l’offerta, attraverso:
- La riconversione della palestra di via Forlimpopoli in Centro Servizi Sportivi per accogliere le sedi centrali delle società sportive della Perla Verde, dotando la struttura di una sala riunioni, una segreteria centrale, una biblioteca informatizzata per la raccolta dati sugli eventi e i personaggi dello sport riccionese.
- La riconversione del Pattinodromo in un palazzetto polifunzionale dello sport.
- La costruzione di un velodromo con annesso “bike & tour” dove organizzare gare ciclistiche in collaborazione con le società locali e promuovere percorsi nell’entroterra per cicloturisti. Una bella molla attrattiva per il turismo potrebbe essere far coincidere l’inaugurazione del velodromo con una tappa del Giro d’Italia da riportare a Riccione.
La cittadella dello sport
Prevediamo un attento e mirato studio di programmazione urbanistica degli interventi necessari per il centro sportivo “I. Nicoletti”, riconducendo ad un piano strutturale gli interventi di natura emergenziale che lo hanno visto protagonista negli ultimi anni.
In questo quadro va anche riesaminata la viabilità e l’accesso al Centro, che oggi grava troppo sul quartiere.
